Minimum Security Requirements for CTPAT Webinar Registration

CBP updated the CTPAT program to include a number of new Minimum Security Criteria that must be addressed by importers. In addition to the current security criteria, CPB added sections on Security Vision, Cybersecurity, Seals, Agriculture issues, and more. They have further enhanced the existing sections regarding Procedural Security and Personnel Security because of several major maritime security incidents in 2019. We will review the new MSC, and the elements that must be included in a Security Profile when applying for or maintaining an importer’s participation in the program.

Supply Chain disruptions have become the rule rather than the exception.  We have seen this building for years, culminating in 2020 – probably the most challenging year for Supply Chains since at least the Financial Crisis of 2008-2009, but maybe even farther back. 

Resiliency is the flexibility to adapt and recover from these sudden shocks to the Supply Chain.  If your model is fixed, it may not adapt well and may put your entire company at risk.
